My name is Naomi Shiek (pronounced CHIC).
I create papercut ketubot for private clients in the Nouveau Judaica style.

What is a ketubah, you ask? A KETUBAH is a decorative marriage covenant used and exhibited in Jewish, non-denominational and non-traditional weddings and commitment ceremonies wherein the couple's vows to each other are declared.

Woodland Papercuts Couture Wedding Collection

My Couture Papercut Wedding Collection launched earlier today!
It is now available in my Woodland Papercuts shop (contact me for details at woodlandpapercuts {at} gmail {dot} com).

Papercutting is a centuries old art used in traditional weddings in Europe, the Far East and the Middle-east. Papercut invitations offer your guests an impressive and exquisite introduction to your wedding vision. Elegant and tactile, the papercut invitations and reply cards are unique and delicately laser cut stationery with a WOW! factor.

There are 7 ready-made designs available:
1. Wings
2. Dandelion
3. In Bloom
4. Maple Leaves
5. Deer Beloved
7. Bamboo

I will feature each design separately for the next 7 days with further details about the process of creating each one and the inspiration behind them. As always, for further inquiries I can be contacted at woodlandpapercuts{at}gmail.com

  2. Thank you!
Yep, missed your wedding by 2 years. The designs of course work for all other occasions too. They make for really elegant and grown-up party invitations, don't they?
