My name is Naomi Shiek (pronounced CHIC).
I create papercut ketubot for private clients in the Nouveau Judaica style.

What is a ketubah, you ask? A KETUBAH is a decorative marriage covenant used and exhibited in Jewish, non-denominational and non-traditional weddings and commitment ceremonies wherein the couple's vows to each other are declared.

Papercuts

New poster size papercut in my shop.

It took me a month to finish because I am the ultimate procrastinator. Also, I was busy with commissions.
The panels were originally designed for my thesis project - a papercut artist book The Stag Folklore. They were used for the wood book sleeve. Now, though, they're a beautiful poster-size papercut. I do have a soft spot for woodland critters. I think I might do a squirrel and rabbit next.
